Chewed up that soil like it was buttah!
The week after we did all the above, we cleared and tilled the little hill you see on the right under the tree shadows. There were some nasty roots and old tree stumps on that hill. We both had the sore muscles to prove it.
Now all that's left is to finish clearing, level the ground, build boxes, fill boxes, create the border, revitalize the grass, put the playset back together, make the fire pit, get gravel, spread gravel, plant some stuff.....
Um. So, how 'bout that brick pile?!
It looks great! I am very impressed. Such a hard job, but it will look amazing when you're done, I'm sure! Good luck, and I wish we lived closer so we could help.
ReplyDeleteSo when are you ready for some major group labor to invade? Looks impressive. And I love a great big tiller!! They are amazing. You feel like you have those horses from Beauxbatons on the rein, but it takes the muscle to go along with it.
